Business owners using social media to market their brand on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn increased from 19% in 2009 to 36% in 2010, according to a recent survey conducted by Citibank. The business owners are using the social media sites to market their companies and reach more potential customers.
Looking ahead, 68% of those surveyed said they will increase marketing strategies in 2011. The results came from a survey of approximately 1,000 small business owners in the U.S.
